Abstract : The integration of Ship Safety Score models into the Marine Weather Information System (MWIS) represents a crucial step towards enhancing maritime safety in Indonesian waters. This research delves into the utilization of Ship Safety Score models incorporating marine weather parameters and ship type specifications. Marine weather data was obtained from the Indonesian Meteorological Agency (BMKG), while ship technical information was extracted from the Automatic Identification System (AIS). The integration of Ship Safety Score models into MWIS demonstrated the ability to provide a more holistic understanding of factors influencing maritime safety. By visualizing Safety Score values, stakeholders can conduct more personalized and specific risk assessments, enabling informed decision-making to bolster national maritime safety. A SWOT analysis was conducted to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with this integration. The results highlighted the importance of Safety Score, integration into MWIS, specialized MWIS training, and MWIS accessibility in enhancing maritime safety. The integration of Safety Score models into MWIS provides a robust foundation for systematic safety risk evaluation and supports proactive decision-making to elevate national maritime safety in Indonesia.
